#1 Dead and poisoned lawn ready to be replaced
After the terrible floods, the fence had to go and it proved to be the ideal time to landscape this garden. We relevel the lawn, set up a vegetable garden, re-sit the shed on a level concrete pad, build a small retaining wall and sow new grass.

#2 Landscaping includes a new wooden fence
This stage involved installing new boundary fencing as part of the landscaping project. You can also view our fencing services for similar projects in Havelock North.

#3 Landscaping: A new concrete pad for the shed.
The concrete base of the shed was not level. We lifted the shed off the base, broke the base and then built a new concrete pad. Because the shed was 100m from the concrete truck, we used the Bobcat to transfer the concrete to where the shed was to sit.
A new concrete pad was installed for the shed, forming part of the complete outdoor transformation. Learn more about our concrete and landscaping services in Havelock North.

#5 Landscaping: Levelling the ground and supplying new soil
Using at Rotadairon stone burier we turned the soil and turned it to dust. We could then use our level bar to fill in the low points and take off the high points. We then sowed the new grass.
Proper soil preparation is essential for long-lasting lawns. Our team provides full lawn installation and landscaping services in Havelock North.
#6 Levelling the ground and supplying new soil
After a few weeks the grass starts to grow and fill in.
#7 Landscaping: Twin retaining walls
We built a pair of walls to create an area that can be more easily planted. We also used our digger to pull out a tree stump that was stopping the area being used easily.

Expert Insight from Everyday Contractors
In our experience, the most important part of a complete landscaping project is proper planning at the beginning.
A common mistake is tackling different elements separately, which can lead to mismatched levels, drainage issues, or extra costs. A coordinated approach ensures everything works together from the start.
