Complete Landscaping

After the terrible floods, the fence had to go and it proved to be the ideal time to landscape this garden. We relevel the lawn, set up a vegetable garden, re-sit the shed on a level concrete pad, build a small retaining wall and sow new grass.

#1 Dead and poisoned lawn ready to be replaced

Before and After the lawn was sown

#2 Landscaping includes a new wooden fence

We quickly took down the old fence and set up the new wooden fence.

#3 A new concrete pad for the shed.

The concrete base of the shed was not level. We lifted the shed off the base, broke the base and then built a new concrete pad. Because the shed was 100m from the concrete truck, we used the Bobcat to transfer the concrete to where the shed was to sit.

#4 Setting out the vegetable garden

We set out a frame, levelled and spaced out the planters, lay out weed mat before supplying and spreading the white stone chip. Again, we used the Bobcat to transfer the stones.

#5 Levelling the ground and supplying new soil

Using at Rotadairon stone burier we turned the soil and turned it to dust. We could then use our level bar to fill in the low points and take off the high points. We then sowed the new grass.

#6 Levelling the ground and supplying new soil

After a few weeks the grass starts to grow and fill in.

#7 Twin retaining walls

We built a pair of walls to create an area that can be more easily planted. We also used our digger to pull out a tree stump that was stopping the area being used easily.
