A common mistake is treating it as a standalone feature, rather than designing it as part of the overall outdoor layout.

Flare’s Signature Series of outdoor fireplaces has three classic shapes that have become New Zealand’s #1 Outdoor Fireplace over a twenty year period. Each shape has the same size firebox featuring a wide mouth to allow for a big fire and simultaneous cooking over embers.
We can assemble your fireplace and complete the plastering in a day. Choose the style you want and we will do the rest. Our team quickly assemble any kit set products you buy.

#1 Flare outdoor fireplaces - Instal the base pieces
We created a level base before lifting the heavy modules into place.
#2 Next we lift the fireplace into position
With the base set in place we carefully lifted the fireplace into position.
#3 Chimney lifted into position
Next came the chimney. This was two pieces and again they had to be perfectly aligned.
#4 Plaster and fixing with bolts
All concrete needs to slope for the water to run off. With the fireplace we needed a perfectly level surface. This meant over a 4m span a gap of 4cm was created. To make this job tidy we packed this gap with Sika grout and plastered all the lifting points. Now the fireplace has a smooth appearance. The job is complete.
